SUMMARY
Palecek, a leading supplier of crafted furniture, accessories and lighting,
seeks a proven sales leader with strong business and leadership skills
to plan and oversee all aspects of the company’s of manufacturing,
logistics, order fulfillment, inventory, and facility management. Responsible
for planning, directing, and managing operational resources to maximize
efficiency and cost effectiveness. Develop policies and procedures, establishes
measurement indices, and manages resources to ensure optimal results.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Member
of the Senior Management Team and Strategy Group.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
• Effectively manage all production, shipping, receiving, inventory,
and facility management departments.
• Implement productivity and quality metrics and incentive programs
to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Plan and direct the layout of equipment, workflow and assembly
methods.
• Improve customer satisfaction through improved operations.
• Effectively negotiate contracts
• Maximize workforce utilization.
• Mentor and develop staff.
• Identify new or needed processes, skills, or methods to improve
quality or productivity.
• Operate within approved budget and business plans.
• Ensure safe work environment and compliance with OSHA standards
and other regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requires a bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of experience
in the field. Excellent management and communication skills a must.
Strong computer skills, AS400 experience preferred.
